DO I NEED COUNCIL APPROVAL OR PERMITS FOR A CARPORT?

In Queensland, most carports require building approval from a private building certifier or the local council. This ensures the design meets safety and zoning rules. Some small carports may be exempt if they meet the Queensland Development Code requirements, like size and boundary setbacks. A certifier will assess and lodge the approval if needed.

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY AND PICK-UP?

Carport Express deliver state-wide, straight to your door. An application for delivery will allow us to estimate delivery time. The delivery schedule is dependent on location.

There is a 7-10 day guarantee for all standard size and colour (zinc) kits ex. factory (pick-up). 30 day guarantee for custom size and colour kits ex. factory.

Yes, Carport Express offer custom size and colour kits. Allow 30 days for manufacturing.

ARE YOUR KITS DIY FRIENDLY OR WILL I NEED A BUILDER?

Carport Express’ kits are DIY friendly. Assembling the kit yourself, with the help of friends or family, saves on the cost of installation. However, if you are unsure about the time and skill to required to construct the kit, we suggest hiring a qualified builder.

DO THE KITS COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS?

All kits are supplied with instruction manuals.
